A long healthy and productive working life. How do we realize this? Researchers, policymakers and professionals from various disciplines active in the field of healthy work and healthy and sustainable workers will discuss this question on the Fourth International Scientific conference on Wellbeing at Work, in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) in May-June 2016.
The world of work is changing. Demands are changing, working conditions are changing , workers are changing. All these changes effect workers’ wellbeing and health. Technological and social innovations pose additional challenges but create opportunities at the same time. The challenges we are facing can only be met if knowledge on social sciences, epidemiology, physiology and technical sciences is combined. This conference will provide an interdisciplinary platform to inspire participants with research results and ideas for new research, policy and practice.
The fourth conference on Wellbeing at Work will be organized by TNO and the department of Public and Occupational Health of the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Earlier conferences have been held in Copenhagen (2014), Manchester (2012) and Helsinki (2010). We hope to welcome you in Amsterdam.
Accreditation has been applied by the following professional Dutch associations:
